Initial Thoughts

This is my second time in EDIT 6190. I plan to expand my Flash actionscript skills by communicating with dynamic content. In addition, I may do a little blog-hacking and database development. I look forward to the opportunity to crack and optimize blogger.com's code for my own purposes. Database development is probably something I should learn--although, I'm not sure how deep down that road I want to travel.

In other news, it will be interesting to see if I can pace myself well throughout this semester. Maybe posting early will help? I hope so.

Why blog?

Why not?

This is my concept for the Studio Reflection Journal:

1. Post everything to one blog
2. Organize it all with labels (aka "topics").
3. Make a home page
4. Point to specific topic areas from the home page
5. Watch it all brilliantly unfold

A note for my chosen topics, most are pretty obvious. I added an additional topic area, "Brick Walls". This will be used to keep note of items that stump me which I'll try to solve later.
